Day #4

"To remind someone that you love them"
This coincidentally lifts off from yesterday's task as though it was meant to be a taster lesson of what to expect next year!

Saying "I LOVE YOU" is easier said than done. I mean, I personally never shy away from letting those close to me know that I do but I feel that maybe we don't say it enough. Doing that initial gesture in whatever way possible and reminding someone that you do has an impact on them. Those three little words can really make a difference.

On reading today's task, we both already knew who our 'someone' was (not each other, silly!) We both have someone dear to us; don't often talk  but we know they're always there... close to our hearts. So, we shared those special words with that person with the hope of making them smile.

Thanks for dropping by x

Day #3

"Prepare for 2013, what's your New Year's Resolution?!"
Ooh! Ended up getting this one a bit early in the month than we hoped but I guess its better to be prepared now than never.

New Year's resolutions... they're a brilliant way to begin a new year for sure. I suppose we often have the usual ones like "GO TO THE GYM"; those 'fresh start' concepts, right?! But it really hits and gives us prime reality checks and a boost of motivation which is great. I'll personally have a few here and there; some I may keep at, others will fade out of existence BUT in order of today's advent calendar task, I plan to prioritise the new year with L O V E! As cheeeeeeeeesy as it is, love is a drive that pulls us through. Its guides us through the happiest times and even through the toughest. The unconditional love we receive from our loved ones and our friends is so limitless. The love one may have for something they enjoy doing is so passionate - its inspiring to others. In knowing that love freely exists, it comforts you and that's why it is so fundamental in our life.

So, in order to feel more grounded, I wish to surround my thoughts and my actions in compassion and empathy and to share and express my appreciation I have for those who matter. Don't worry, I won't be completely high on love hahaha. Mustn't forget to enjoy life... LIVE, LAUGH and EAT PLENTY will do as my motto for the year.

A personalised calendar from our dearest friends to use in the New Year and a sweet reminder of what our year is all about.

Have a good week x

Day #2

After yesterday's great starter activity to the month, we just cannot wait to see what's in store for the rest of the days. Well, day numero dos...
"Why not have yourselves a bit of FUN!"
Absolutely adore that three letter word F U N, that is what life is all about!

So, today we completed the remainder of our Christmas shopping - hooray! Well, it was just the one little gift left to search for but we found it and it definitely is a relief. The great part is the wrapping (who else would agree?!) Going to use the next couple of days doing that whilst watching classic Christmas movies.

Apart from that, we prepared ourselves for our FUN evening out together. Wrapped up in our winter gear; got super warm with our snoods and gloves and made our way to Somerset House. To us, this place has been one of those things where we kept saying "Oh, I want to go there!" Time after time after time. 2nd December 2012 ended up being the day to achieve that. Buckled up with the 'not so common' skate boots, they have obviously been doing well to upgrade the usual plastic blue ones you'd get everywhere lol. Though the time was short, the atmosphere was fantastic. The huge Christmas tree and serene lighting accompanied with the jolly music to help your skate on. We had such a great time! And no falls either hehehe.

Very glad the weather kept clear for us. We ended the evening with a trip to good old Nandos for our usual meals. Yum yum yum!
Thanks for reading! Toodles x

Day #1

DECEMBER DECEMBER DECEMBER... Don't know about you but this year has definitely flown by so quickly. But the month has arrived and the first day is revealed.

On opening our first red envelope, we were so very happy to see what it was --
"Senseful Creations has had a good year, make and donate a hamper to a charity"
What a fantastic way to begin the month with! Senseful Creations has been up and running since the beginning of 2012 and its been an amazing experience so far. We've built up on a range of creations and its been such a pleasure being able to meet and share all our work with so many wonderful people out there. We truly appreciate all the support and feedback we've had and its something we reel on to continue doing what we do.

For that reason, we wanted to use our ideas and provide our services towards a good cause. A dear friend of ours is currently organising a charity ball for Cancer Research UK to be held this month and we saw this as a brilliant opportunity to help by donating towards this. Cancer Research has always been something we both feel very strongly about; for many years we have strived to do what we can to support this charity.

So, we spent some time and created a hamper filled with plenty of Christmas goodies and can only hope and pray it will be an aid in raising money. Fingers crossed!

That's that. Till tomorrow, again. Thanks for dropping by x

Our Basic Ingredients

...to a Merry Christmas: Our Advent Calendar

I adore Christmas; it is one of my absolute favourite times of the year! A time of utter bliss & serenity. I love wrapping up in winter garms, I love how such a season can totally ignite your inner child and I love seeing smiles all around me. In saying that, every year I ensure to get an Advent Calendar (may I enclose that I am of my late twenties, haha). As much as it aids my excitement, it is also my safety net…that I never forget.
You see, amidst the things that we do on a daily basis, we unwillingly tend to forget many things. As December nears, for some, we end up accommodating so much in our everyday lives that there is hardly much time to get excited about the festive season and its real reason for celebration. Instead, it ends up becoming a season of stress and commotion; finding last minute presents and getting fed up with the mad crowds who are there for the same purpose and probably thinking the same thing.
This year, I wanted to have an Advent Calendar with a difference. It’s been such a wonderful year, nevertheless, much of it has been mystified and engrossed within a busy lifestyle that there hasn’t been a real moment to appreciate so many things to its fullest matter. So, my fiancĂ© and I have created a calendar suited to us, to celebrate the days in anticipation to Christmas. Emphasizing the act of love and sharing, the act of learning and giving and not forgetting… to have FUN!
We are looking forward to welcoming this December and hopefully sharing those moments with you!
Thank you for reading. God Bless.

First Birthday...

of my precious and very beautiful god-daughter

Alaya Chanel
This wonderful occasion was held this weekend with the presence of all her friends and family. She was such a happy character throughout the evening; smiling, laughing & entertaining all her guests. It was a great pleasure for me to attend and celebrate with her; I really can't believe she's ONE already.

Together with the fabulous food, marvelous Minnie Mouse cake done by a friend of mine, all the fun and games... I got to share a few treats especially for my sweet girl.
[Pictured below: Chocolate Pop-A-Cake Candies]

Hope you all had a great weekend too. Many thanks for 'POP'ping by lol. Enjoy the rest of the week people =)
